Five Letters That Can Make Or Break Your Success

…what are those five letters?

Until.

That’s right, until.

Which way are you using it?

Jim Rohn says that ‘until’ is a strong word, and one you should keep in mind when it comes to what you do?

I won’t get off my butt off this seat ‘until’ I’ve finished this chapter.

I won’t look at social media ‘until’ I’ve done today’s work.

I won’t have that treat ‘until’ I do what needs to be done.

I won’t give up ‘until’ I get the hang of this thing.

Until means that’s you’ll stay focused, you’ll keep going, you’ll stick with it until you work it out.

But for me, a lot of people use it the opposite way.

I’m not going to start a a blog ‘until’ I know everything I need to know.

I’m won’t try my hand at fiction writing ‘until’ I get permission from someone.

I won’t start to build an email list of readers ‘until’ I’m selling lots of books.

Personally, I used it the wrong way for far too long. Waiting for all the right circumstances, when things were going to be perfect.

That ‘until’ meant I keep pushing what I wanted further ahead of me and never taking action on it.

The times when I used it as a carrot and stick, to keep myself going, made a far bigger difference.

The time spent writing in the car until I reached my daily word count.

The weekends I forced myself to keep going until I had my video course finished.

So how are you using it?

As a cop out, or as something that’s getting you closer to your goals?

Five letters that make all the difference in what you achieve.

You know what other words can make a difference to your success?

The keywords you use with your books.

Like the two versions of until, there are many that can make the difference between success and failure.

But you won’t know unless you sort out the good from the bad.

This is a good way to do it.

‘Until’ we talk again,  have a great day.
