The 3 Hour Work Day

…trawling back through my hard drive the other day, I came across an old report by the great Jimmy D Brown.

Flicking through the PDF, one of the sections jumped out at me, ‘How To Create A 3 Hour Work Day.’

After many years, Jimmy realized that if he was going to get more done (and not run around like a headless chicken) he had only three things he had to focus on.

– Offers – He had to create things to sell.
– List – He had to grow his email list
– Traffic – He had to get more people in front of his offers.

And that’s it.

Focusing on only those three things, he gave each 45 minutes of his time, and finished the remainder of his time with some email housekeeping.

3 hours.

So, how about you?

Spending longer than that each day?

If you’re not making money working longer, maybe you need to be working smarter.

They say a job increases to fill the time allotted to it.

Give a job an hour to do, and chances are good that you won’t get it done in that time. But give it twenty minutes, and don’t be surprised if you get it done three times as fast.

And if you can’t, that may be a sign that you need to hire someone to take on that extra work you can’t get through.

Now, if you’re a writer that doesn’t have a moment to do any promotional work, you really need to rethink your business.

If you’re not promoting your work, who will?

If you’re not building your email list, who will?

If you’re not driving readers to your book, who will?

Now, you could carry on spinning all those plates, and hope you get everything done. Or you could put someone else in the writing seat and just focus on collecting the money.

How?

Here’s the answer.

PS – And if you’ve never heard of Jimmy, Google his name. I doubt you’ll find a  bad word said about him.

Which is very rare in Internet Marketing circles nowadays.
