How To Make Money Through The Keyhole…
…or why you should never ask an author how to make money.
Why so? Because it’s monkey see, monkey do. If everyone else is doing it that way, then that’s the way you do it.
That’s why you’ll find lots of them grinding their gears in forums, complaining that Amazon isn’t sending them enough royalties to pay for a can of cat food.
Yet, like a fly that’s bouncing off a closed window, they don’t see the open door six feet away.
Nowadays if you’re looking at the 30-70% commision as the only way you can make money from your books…you’re looking at the keyhole and not the door you could be opening.
You see the only way of making a children’s picture book as hiring an expensive illustrator, I see the Picture Book Publishing course.
You see a picture book as just a book, I see it as jigsaws, hats, water bottles, soft furnishing for a child’s nursery, heck, even wallpaper.
But that’s just me.
PS – You can jump aboard on either one right now, or you can go join the
ranks making voodoo dolls of Jeff Bezos and see if that helps.
The picture publishing course is going up in price tomorrow….don’t say you
weren’t warned.
