Your Mission Should You Choose To Accept It Is…

Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun….dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun…etc
But your mission today…..Is to be likable.
That’s it.
Be likable.
Doesn’t matter if you’re selling books, t-shirts, courses, cars, or whatever.
We all buy from people we like.
We don’t buy because you’re draped across the hood of a Ferrari.
We don’t buy because you’ve got a six-pack.
We don’t buy because you went to the right school.
We buy because we like you.
That’s it.
I don’t know about you, but that’s a big influence on my buying decisions.
Sometimes I even drive out of my way to go to a store where I like the person behind the till.
The people I don’t like, I begrudge going to them, and only go there if they’re the only option.
But nobody will tell you that.
They’ll tell you that a change of font will turn your website around.
They’ll tell you that a one-button piece of software will suck up people’s credit card details for you.
They’ll tell you that a $7 eBook will transform your bank account.
And sometimes it does….for the odd sale.
But to get repeat sales…you’ll never beat likeability.
People buy from people they know, they like, and they trust.
How do you do that?
Be a human being.
How do you do that?
Talk to people in groups, post a nice comment on a blog, or pick up your phone and talk into it. – As either a podcast or a short video on TikTok.
Show me you’ve got a pulse, want to make my life better in some way, and I’ll give you cash in return….or tell other people about you.
Take my TikTok account for example.
Remember that 292 followers I once had?
Well, it’s hit 600 the last I checked.
No tricks, no buying followers, no begging for a follow.
Just turn up and provide value.
That’s it.
