Imagine Driving Your Car Backwards To The Shops
….what if this morning you got into your car and reversed off the driveway into the road.
Then you reversed down the street to the Stop sign.
Then you took a left and kept on reversing all the way through town until you got to the shops.
Then you buy what you need, hop back in your car, and reverse the whole way home.
Who in their right mind would ever do that?
And yet there’s a good chance you’re doing that right now.
You’re looking at yesterday and using it as the blueprint of today.
If you didn’t write fiction in the past, chances are good you’ll never do it today.
If you didn’t record a video in the past, chances are good you’ll never do one today.
If you never made money online in the past, you’ll believe it’ll always be that way in the future.
Imagine hoping that the future would be better but using yesterday’s failures as your road map.
There’s a reason why the windscreen on your car is a lot bigger than your rearview mirror.
That’s because cars were meant to be driven forwards, not backward.
Same with you and your life.
