Oh Nos….It’s More Nos

…today I saw an article title on LinkedIn that made my day.

” Stop Giving Up After One ‘No.’ ”

I didn’t read it, because it’s for the feeble-minded that give up at the first sign of rejection.

Because let’s face it, you’re going to hear more nos than yes in this life.

If it’s the other way around , I’d worry about the company you’re keeping.

So, how well do you handle rejection?

How many nos are you willing to take before you throw in the towel?

I remember watching a TikTok video where someone once said that if you give up after the first one or two rejections, you didn’t really want that thing.

And that’s something to stew on.

How much do you want it?

If you’re thin-skinned or used to getting green lights all the way I’d worry about you.

Because long term you’re not going to make it.

Rejection is everywhere.

And sometimes you don’t even have to ask for it. – You’re met with a shut door before you even get your mouth open, or people take a pop at you on social media.

So, if there’s anything that’s going to be a barometer on the success you’ll achieve, it’s the amount of rejection you’re willing to take.
